Understanding Cystoscopy
Cystoscopy uses a thin flexible telescope passed through the urethra to inspect the urethra and bladder lining directly. It is the definitive way to evaluate blood in the urine, investigate recurrent infections, and monitor for bladder tumor recurrence. It takes only a few minutes and is performed in the office.
